I spent many happy holidays as a child playing on this beautiful coastline and now I am lucky enough to live here with my husband and two children. We love nothing more than walks along this beach and feel lucky to call it home.

My Grandparents lived here when they were alive, essence of the WI, dominoes and soup! I spent my childhood playing here. I have memories that will last a lifetime!

This is the view from my garden and I’m proud that the place I have chosen IS really my home. How can one fail to be filled with awe and wonderment when looking at that view? After a long day at work teaching in a primary school, I can stand in my garden, gaze about and feel instantly relaxed. Bliss.

Although I am originally from Scotland I moved to Cornwall many years ago and now consider myself more Cornish than Scottish! I love Cornwall - the friendly people, the food and most of all the lovely scenery. I love the beautiful beaches, the blue sparkling sea, the rolling countryside, and little villages full of character. Possible the most beautiful place on earth!

This Park is just round the corner from where we live. We have lots of happy memories of daily walks with the children when they were small, the “bouncy branch” which the children loved to bounce on, feeding ducks in the lake, etc. At the moment the bluebells are gorgeous.

The view from my balcony. We have moved and have no view now, but this glorious scene means home to me.

this is an amazing campsite very close to my home, my young son is as happy there as he is at home and the view is amazing, being close to home we can go at short notice too!

This is the park I spent many fantastic times: my childhood eating ice creams on the swings, summer days of my teens lazing on the grass with my friends, walks and coffee with my family after an afternoon shopping. I especially love to walk my dog here, relax and take in nature.

Saltburn Pier has always marked time for me, my rock in an ever changing world. Just to stand and watch the waves. Just to get thoughts back in order and put the world to rights. Salt in the air. Wind in my face. Cry of the gulls. Yes, this is home. Always has been and probably always will be.

I love these woods throughout the year. Watching the colours change with the seasons. Although autumn is my favourite with the different browns, a slight chill in the air and peaceful away from a busy working week. Listening to the birds and joined by the occasional deer walking through the undergrowth. A great place to recharge the batteries of life and an ideal location to snap away with a camera to record the years changes.

Hadlow station is one of many historical gems that make Willaston such an amazing place to call home. As well as providing a fascinating window into the past, Hadlow Station’s old railway route provides a beautiful doorway that encourages and inspires generations old and new to explore the length and breadth of the Wirral peninsula from Hooton all the way to West Kirby. This beautiful station not only marks home but also offers a means to help better understand the village, its surroundings, and the region in which my home has grown up in.

I have been visiting the Peak District all my adult life; taking my children to explore the mountains, forests and rivers. I want to live here when I retire because I believe it’s the most beautiful place in the world.
